Ms. Colleen Welsh Leonard

Ms. Colleen joined New Horizons Montessori Academy in 2021. Colleen’s lifelong dream has been to be a teacher and a Montessori teacher in particular.  Her mother owned a Montessori school for 40 years and Colleen was there throughout her entire life. 

She was a full-time preschool teacher for two years and a Kindergarten teacher for the past 7 years.  She has a two-year daughter named Vivienne who is also a student at NHMA.  

Colleen has a Bachelor’s, PA Teacher Certificate in K-6, and a Master’s degree from Cabrini University.
